Q: What is the biggest risk of using ammonium sulfate water soluble fertilizer?
A: Soil acidification due to prolonged single use is the greatest risk. Ammonium sulfate is a physiologically acidic fertilizer, and continued heavy single use on neutral or acidic soils can significantly lower soil pH and may lead to aluminum/manganese toxicity, disruption of soil structure, and inhibition of beneficial microbial activity.
Q: Ammonium sulfate water-soluble fertilizer doesn't seem to contain much nitrogen, will it be wasted if I use too much?
A: It does require more ammonium sulfate than urea or ammonium nitrate to achieve the same nitrogen supply, which may increase transportation and application costs. Ammonium sulfate itself contains salt, and excessive or high concentration will aggravate salt damage.
Q: What is the concentration of ammonium sulphate when it is used for drip irrigation or foliar spraying?
