Water soluble magnesium fertilizer is used to provide efficient magnesium supplementation to plants through irrigation or foliar sprays, taking advantage of its solubility in water, fast absorption and quick results. Product Features & Applications
1. Magnesium sulfate: the most common and economical water-soluble magnesium fertilizer, usually magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Contains about 9.6-10% magnesium and about 13% sulfur. Most widely used.
2. Magnesium nitrate: Provides magnesium and nitrate nitrogen at the same time, containing about 15-16% magnesium and 10-11% nitrogen. Suitable for the need to supplement nitrogen and magnesium at the same time, less impact on soil acidification.
3. Magnesium chloride: Contains about 12-15% magnesium. The price may be lower, but it contains chloride ions, which need to be used with caution for chlorine-avoidant crops (e.g., tobacco, potatoes, some fruit trees), and may increase soil salinity if used in large quantities over a long period of time.
4. Magnesium hydroxide: Relatively low solubility, commonly used to regulate soil pH (raise pH) and also provide magnesium. It needs to be converted into water-soluble ions to be absorbed and is slow to work.
