Why Magnesium Matters in Humic Granular Fertilizer

Magnesium is often discussed because it is linked with leaf color and normal photosynthesis. In a humic granular fertilizer, magnesium is not the only point, but it gives the product another useful role during crop growth. The humic part works mainly in soil, while magnesium supports the plant side of the program. This combination is useful when farms want one soil dressing product instead of several loose materials.

The rate still needs to follow the crop and soil condition. Fruit trees, vegetables, field crops, and tuber crops do not always need the same amount. A better practice is to check the soil, choose the right application point, keep the granules away from direct root contact, and water or cover the area after application. If the soil is already wet, covering may be enough; if the field is dry, light watering helps the granule start working sooner.
